Nicole Kaysing is closing the wellness education gap — one school, one family, one person at a time. Author of the Holistic Mindfulness Journal- recognized as the Transformational Tool of the Year at the LA Times Festival of Books — she is the one you call when you're ready to create change that actually lasts.
"When we teach people how to care for themselves — truly, holistically — everything changes. The classroom changes. The home changes. The person changes."
Hi-I'm Nicole Kaysing, founder of Balancing Wellness. Whether you're an educator looking to shift your school culture, a parent trying to model self-care, or someone who's just ready to stop running on empty — you're in the right place.

Most schools teach math, reading, and science. What they're not teaching — and what most of us were never taught — is how to take care of ourselves from the inside out.
The result? Educators running on burnout. Parents stretched too thin. Students growing up without the self-awareness tools that make everything else in life more manageable.
This is exactly the gap Balancing Wellness was built to close.
7
Seven Areas of wellness that need to be in balance — physical, mental & emotional, social, intellectual, spiritual, environmental, and financial & occupational. Most wellness programs only address one or two.
1
One Integrated, holistic approach that addresses all seven — built for schools, families, and individuals who are ready to do things differently.

This Award Winning journal isn't about doing it right. It's about showing up, building awareness, and learning to listen to yourself one page at a time. Created during one of the toughest seasons of my life — and designed to become your daily anchor.
Covers all 7 areas of wellness · Guided prompts · Daily reflection structure

You can be aware, consistent, and still feel stuck. That's not a willpower problem — it's a vision problem. This is the deeper work: clarifying what you actually want, releasing what's holding you back, and building the life your wellness is pointing you toward.
Self-paced · Live group coaching · Foundational curriculum · Prerequisite for the Retreat
I speak to educators, parents, school leaders, and organizations who are ready to do things differently — and who understand that self-care is a life skill, not a luxury.
My talks are practical, personal, and built for audiences who are done with surface-level wellness conversations.

For those who are ready to go all in.
A fully immersive, week-long wellness experience designed to reconnect you with yourself at the deepest level.

Whether you're just starting your wellness journey or looking to fine-tune your habits, this quiz provides a personalized snapshot of your current balance.
Discover where you thrive and where you can grow—because true wellness is about nurturing every aspect of your life.
I started my career in health and physical education, but quickly realized that what most people needed wasn't more fitness instruction. It was a completely different way of thinking about what it means to be well.
So I built it — from the ground up, through teaching, research, real life, and a whole lot of learning the hard way. Today, Balancing Wellness is a curriculum model, a coaching framework, a journal, a course, and a community.
But at the heart of it is one thing that hasn't changed: the belief that every person — every student, every educator, every parent — deserves the tools to live a life that feels balanced, intentional, and genuinely theirs.
